Alternate Ringbearers: Elves |

 The Elves, being closer to the Twilight world than the other races have both a better resistance to the evils of it and a greater susceptibility to being pulled into it. As a result, it is difficult for an Elf to remove a Ring once it is worn, but they are not corrupted so easily as Men and Dwarves. The old enmity between the Elves and Dwarves also serves to prevent the Elves from taking the Ring if a Dwarf is present without the guiding force of Elrond's Council to prevail. << Back to Alternate Ringbeaerers |
